The Ona of Abaji and chairman of the council of traditional rulers in the FCT, Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, has called on the newly installed Odumi of Ebagi community of the council, Alhaji Muhammadu Angulu Tsado, to always ensure peace reigns among his subjects.
Speaking at the coronation ceremony of Tsado as the new Odumi of Ebagi at his palace on Saturday, the chief further advised him to be fair and just to all the people of his community, irrespective of ethnic and religious affiliations.
He commended the kingmakers for unanimously choosing Tsado as the new chief of the community without any rancor or acrimony, saying he also knows him to be a gentleman who always stands for the truth.
The Ona therefore, urged the kingmakers, elders and residents of the community to support and cooperate with the new chief in order for him to succeed.
Also speaking, the chairman of Abaji Area Council, Alhaji Abdulrahman Ajiya, said he was elated that his name has entered the history book of Ebagi community that a new chief emerged under his administration.
He therefore advised the new chief to ensure his people remain law abiding to traditional institutions and constituted authorities of the council.
