Gov Ayade: I am not a typical politician

Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State said yesterday that he is not the traditional politician who would promise to do something but ended up doing another thing.
Ayade, who spoke to journalists, said he was not used to deceitful approach in life a view which, he added, had shown on his style of governance.
The governor said he put his mind, soul and spirit into any project he initiated to ensure its success, stressing that he was passionate and emotional when it came to governance and delivering the dividends of democracy to his people.
He lamented that the people in Cross River seemed not to appreciate his efforts which were hailed outside the state, and appealing to them not to criticise but to correct him because he was still seeking knowledge.
