Ja’e appointed MD ABU press unit

The Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Professor Ibrahim Garba, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Ja’e as the substantive Managing Director of the institution’s Printing Press.
Ja’e who took over management of  the printing press from Alhaji Kassimu Shika who successfully steered affairs of the printing press for close to two years in acting capacity was, before his appointment, the company’s head of printing.
Born on the 16th of June, 1977, in Shika village of Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State,  Ja’e attended Ahmadu Bello University Staff School, Zaria, from 1983 to 1989 from where he proceeded to Federal Government college Kaduna in 1990 where he graduated in 1995.
He was admitted into the Kaduna Polytechnic in 1996 where he obtained both National and Higher National diplomas at different times. He also obtained a postgraduate diploma from the United States Kaduna-based Community Resource Centre in 2014.
Ja’e had earlier worked as a Production Supervisor at Megacraft Inc. Kaduna between 1999 to 2002.
He first joined the ABU Press in 2005 as a supervisor and purchasing officer from where he was appointed as the marketing officer of Amana Printing Ltd Kaduna from where he rose to the positions of Marketing and Production Manager.
Alhaji  Ja’e however left Amana Printing Press Kaduna to re-join the ABU Press as head of printing in 2014 where he was appointed Managing Director.
