ALS Poetry Slam for August 5

The Abuja Literary Society (ALS) annual Poetry Slam has been scheduled to hold on August 5th at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
The event will see contestants battle for the prize of N100, 000 and the title of ALS Slam Champion.
According to notices issued by the ALS, interested poets can enter by emailing the organisers to indicate their interest and pay an entry fee of N1, 000 at the venue of the event.
According to the notice, contestant are expected to be prepared to render three poems, one for each round of the contest and judges will be selected from the audience on the day of the event.
