1 electrocuted in Jos

The police have confirmed the death of one person from electric shock following restoration of electricity behind the Bauchi motor park in Jos north local government area of Plateau State.
Eye witness say three youths were seated in a shop during a downpour when electricity was restored and an electrical pole which had direct contact with the wall of the shop sparked, passing current to the shop surroundings.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) SP Abu Emmanuel confirmed the incident, saying, “We know that two persons were taken to the hospital and one of the victims died while the other is still receiving treatment.”
