Promoted Premier League club Hull City have sensationally jumped to the head of the queue for the signature of Nigeria forward Umar Aminu, AfricanFootball.com can exclusively reveal.
“Hull City are now leading the chase for Aminu,” revealed a source close to the former Wikki Tourists star.
“They have a better chance than the other teams who want to sign him.”
However, transfer experts have raised concerns that Aminu may not get a work permit to play in the EPL as he has not played the required 75% of the full international team in the last two years.
He only made his Eagles debut in March against Egypt in Alexandria.
But another school of thought argued that his three-year sojourn in Turkey could enhance his chances of being granted a work permit.
Turkish champions Besiktas have already had an initial offer for the Osmanlispor star rejected.
