The police said that the two men called out the victim, who resides with her sister at Lawal Close, Igando, in the Alimosho Local Government Area, from her home, saying they had already secured a job for her and that she was expected to resume duty immediately. When she returned home, she told her sister what happened and the matter was reported to the police at Igando Division.

The suspects were trailed, arrested and detained at the police station. According to the police, the men confessed that they had sex with her but that she was not raped.

They were charged before the Ikeja magistrate’s court for the alleged offence. They pleaded not guilty.

The presiding magistrate, Mrs B.O. Osunsanmi, granted the suspects bail in the sum of N500,000, with two sureties in like sum.

The case was adjourned till February 2, 2018 for trial, while the suspects were remanded in prison custody pending when they will perfect their bail condition.
