Wife of the President, Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, has described the death of Oba of Benin, Omo n’Oba Uku Akpolokpolo Erediauwa II and Walin Sokoto, Ambassador Hazmat Ahmad as monumental loss to the nation.
In a statement from her media assistant Jamilu Yusuf, Buhari said the death of the two great men could not easily be due to their immense contribution in ensuring peace and unity.
The president’s wife urged Nigerians to imbibe their spirit of commitment and good legacies which they left behind.
Buhari expressed her condolence to the Government and people of Edo and Sokoto states and prayed God to grant the bereaved families fortitude to bear the loss.
