Acting Chief Judge sworn-in

A new Acting Chief Judge, Hon justice Obisike Orji, has been sworn-in in Abia State following the suspension of the former Chief Judge, Justice Theresa Uzokwe by the House of Assembly.

Speaking at the ceremony at Government House, Umuahia, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu said the swearing in was in line with the constitution having received the resolution of the House of Assembly suspending Justice Uzokwe.

Dr Ikpeazu reminded the Acting Chief Judge that he has a task to restore the confidence of the people in the judiciary.
