Graduate builds drone

A graduate of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Federal University Technology Minna, Niger State, Opeyemi Solomon, has manufactured an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) popularly called drone.
Mr. Solomon said the small aircraft which flies without a pilot on board can be remote-controlled from a ground control station. He said the drone can be effectively used for surveillance.
The project supervisor, Engineer Isa Ramalan, said the department will make an improved version of the drone later.
