A short while ago, I read with bemusement the anti-Donald Trump piece written by Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed of the Daily Trust newspaper on Friday, March 11 titled, ‘The loudest person in the room’, never was a soul vilified as he did to Mr. Trump. Why should this be? Dr. Baba-Ahmed even predicted that Trump would lose to Hilary Clinton in November; he was not bothered that his prediction could be wrong, thereby misleading millions of readers of the Daily Trust newspaper.
I think Dr. Baba-Ahmed is missing the point. One would need to go inside the mind of Mr. Trump to understand him. Mr. Trump sees a world in which Muslims have declared jihad against Christians and Jews and are hell-bent at scorched-earth destruction in the manners of the Amalekites and Amorites; he has even accused President Barack Obama of not doing enough to protect Christians. Donald Trump feels a great responsibility to insulate and protect America from jihadist threats if elected president and who can blame him for that? He has identified a litany of jihadist threats to America.
