Oyo: Lawmaker canvasses govt aid for rainstorm victims

A lawmaker representing Ogbomosho North state constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly,  Bimbo Olawunmi Oladeji, has canvassed government’s support for rainstorm victims in Ogbomosho and other parts of the state.
She made the call on the floor of the house while moving a motion titled “Need to Provide Succour to Victims of Rainstorm in Ogbomosho, Oyo, Ibarapa and other affected parts of Oyo State.”
The lawmaker painted a gory picture of the rainstorm which occurred recently which, she said was terrible and disastrous as,  “it caused huge damage to lives and property of the people in Sabo, Abogunde, Isale Afon, Saja-Isale Ora, Masifa, Aguodo, Aduin and Oke-Ado areas.”
