And the Presidency on Tuesday took to social media to do so for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
"Happy 59th birthday to His Excelleny, Vice President @ProfOsinbajo. Nigerians are proud of you sir,” presidential spokesman Garba Shehu said on his twitter handle.
Shehu is senior special assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on media and publicity.
In a Facebook post, the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, described VP Osinbajo as “prepared for a time like this.”
Akande wrote: "Of a truth, this God is our God. Our VP turns 59 today (yesterday) and he started the day singing to the Lord…"
