Madam Saje marks 40 years on stage

One of Nigeria’s leading Yoruba actresses, Fausat Balogun, 53, aka Madam Saje, will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of her career as an actress.
The event, which is set to hold on April 17th 2016 at the Time Square Event Centre, already has fans and colleagues excited to grace the event.
The veteran actress who is married to Rafiu Balogun, a scriptwriter, producer, director and actor started acting at the age of thirteen in 1976, and since then has starred in many movies.
She acquired her nickname ‘Madam Saje’ from her role in one of the television series in the 90’s titled ‘Erin KeeKee’ by Baba Suwe. One of the side attractions of the event,the actress has said, would be music by famous Yoruba fuji singer, Wasui Alabi Pasuma.
