Man stripped naked over N350, 000 debt

A 35-year-old man was beaten and stripped naked last Thursday by angry residents in Dutse, Abuja, over an alleged debt of N350, 000.
The victim was also said to have been rescued by the police from the angry mob who was about to lynch him.
City News gathered that the victim, who claimed to be a herbalist, had received the sum of N350, 000 from a woman for a business transaction which never happened.
A source said the woman, who could not condone the fraud, mobilised some men who stormed the victim’s residence to demand for the money.

It was further learnt that the victim, who sustained serious injuries, was later taken to Kubwa General Hospital for medical attention.
 The Dutsen Alhaji Divisional Police Officer (DPO), CSP  Aisha Yusuf confirmed the report.
