Traditional ruler endorses Abaji zoning arrangement

The former chairman of Abaji Area Council, Alhaji Musa Yahaya Mohammed, has said the Ona of Abaji, Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, has  endorsed the zoning agreement between residents of Abaji town and people of the Abaji Area Development Association (ARADA).
Addressing a crowd of APC supporters during a campaign rally at Pandagi village on Saturday, the APC chieftain said there was no going back on the zoning agreement since it has already been sealed.
He said he was part of the zoning arrangement right from the beginning to the end, adding that all stakeholders, including the incumbent chairman, Alhaji Yahaya Garba Gawu, was also signatory to the agreement.
“In fact, even when the  late chairman of ARADA, Alhaji Salihu Sokodeke, went to the palace of Ona of Abaji, he acknowledged and supported  the zoning agreement, “ he said.
He said his resolve to dump the PDP and pitch tent with the ruling APC was not for a selfish purpose, but to ensure that people of the rural areas stand by the zoning agreement.
The APC chieftain therefore called on the Gwari indigenes of Pandagi and Nuku communities to hold their voters cards tight and come out enmass to vote for the APC candidate, Alhaji Abdulrahman Ajiya, in March 19, council election in the area.
