Rescuers have recovered the body of one of the two persons who were declared missing in Saturday’s boat accident in Lagos.
A fibre boat conveying eight passengers and two crew members capsized while on its way to Badagry. Eight persons were immediately rescued from the water while two were declared missing.
The incident occurred seven days after a similar accident at Ikorodu where seven persons died.
National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) South West spokesman, Ibrahim Farinloye, confirmed the recovery of the body from the lagoon yesterday.
