N1.3m realised at Bauchi musical concert for IDPs

A Bauchi-based nongovernmental organization (NGO), Independent Multi-media Association, popularly known as Tamburan Fasaha says that it realized N1.3 million during its musical concert organised to raise fund for IDPs in the state. Chairman of the association, Alhaji Suleiman Usman disclosed this while speaking to journalists in Bauchi yesterday, saying however that the amount is meagre as thousands of IDPs are taking refuge in the state. The association organized the musical concert earlier this month after having registered thousands of IDPs who included orphans, widows and families who fled into the state.
