Students of the Green Bee Eaters House of the Centagon International School, Abuja, have emerged overall winner of the school’s inter-house relay race with 191 points.
The second position went to Red Fishers House who garnered 181 points while Yellow Weavers House took the third position with 117 points. Blue King Fishers House got fourth position with 116 points.
Muhammed Bello from the Red Fishers House that took second position said that they have learnt their mistakes and would correct them for future events. He said that they would strategize and put more effort to beat the overall winner in the next year’s event.
He called on his colleagues not to relent in their determination to become overall winner next year.
Also Auwal Bashir from Green Bee Eaters House that emerge the overall winner of the competition said that team work and determination gave them an edge over their opponents, and called on his team colleagues to put more efforts in order to maintain their position in the next years’ event.
Proprietor of the school, Mrs. Nosen Omoluwa, said that the aim for organising the event was to encourage students to take part in sport and compete among themselves.
