Poor resumption turnout in public schools worries SUBEB

The State Universal Basic Education Board in Plateau has expressed displeasure over what it described as the poor turnout of pupils in public primary schools since resumption after the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The Executive Chairman of the Board, Prof. Mathew Nshim Sule, in a statement signed by his Personal Assistant, Yakubu Ajala, said parents had no justification in keeping their wards at home when the term had fully commenced since January 8.
