Livestock feeds gets new MD

Livestock Feeds Plc has appointed a pharmacist, Mr. Solomon Aigbavboa, as its managing director.

A statement from the firm said that the appointment would take effect from January 1, 2018.

Aigbavboa took over from Mrs. Modupe Asanmo, who is retiring after 10 years of service to the company.

He obtained Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in pharmacy from University of Benin and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Federal University of Technology, Owerri.

According to the statement, he is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management (Ghana) and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (Nigeria).

Aigbavboa started his career as a lecturer in pharmaceutical chemistry at the University of Benin and later joined UAC of Nigeria Plc in June, 1997 as personal products manager in the then GBO/MDS Division.

At the UACN group he occupied various management positions such as national customer service manager, MDS Logistics; general manager, franchise operations, Mr. Biggs and general manager, operations, UAC Foods.
