US firm signs $1b partnership with NAPPS

A US firm, Digital Learning Network (DLN) has signed a $1b partnership deal with the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Lagos chapter in an effort to drive digital transformation in private schools for 30 years.

Speaking at the partnership deal signed on Thursday in Lagos, the president, DLN, Thomas Larmena who underscored the importance of the driving digital transformation in the country’s education sector, broke down the partnership deal, saying, $900m has been earmarked for acquisition of laptops and $100m for the development and building of the network.

“DLN was formed specifically with the goal of finding a solution to digital transformation to developing countries. Our world has changed. Digital technology is the new lead. If you are not in tune with digital solutions, Nigeria will be left far behind,” he said.

The president, NAPPS Lagos, Alaka Yusuf Lukman commended the DLN for the partnership, saying it would improve learning outcomes in the country’ education sector.
