My book is to drive family values among youths —Yakusak

An author, Edify Yakusak has stated that her latest book, ‘On a Day Like This’ is targeted at inculcating family values among Nigerian youths as part of advocacy for a better family and the society.

Yakusak stated this on Thursday in Abuja at the launch of her Book, which is her third in series.

According to her, “The story is a compelling one that discusses a dysfunctional family and portrays how family values are crucial in societal development and it is my third book having published the first one on 2016,”

On what can be done to tackle the dwindling reading culture among young people in the country, the author who is also a lawyer noted that “Financial empowerment and provision of book clubs is important on the part of government and corporate entities to revive reading culture among youths and students.”
