The police in Lagos State have brought a 51-year-old man, Chigozie Nwogbodo, before an Ojo Magistrates’ Court over alleged threat to life.
Nwogbodo was arraigned before Magistrate L. K. J Layeni on a three-count charge of conspiracy, threat to life and causing bodily harm, the offences he pleaded not guilty to.
The prosecutor, ASP Simon Uche, told the court that the defendant conspired with others at large to commit the offences at Alaba International Market, Ojo.

Uche said that the defendant threatened to kill one Mr Kenneth Ezeani through a secret cult known as Arugba.
The court granted the defendant bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned till Feb. 3, 2025. (NAN)
