Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) heavyweights, Bayelsa Queens, Remo Stars Ladies, Naija Ratels and Abia Angels have qualified for the semi-final of the ongoing 2024 Sheroes Cup tournament in Abuja.
The tournament organized by Ratels Sports Development Foundation (RSDF) is a pre-season competition that has continued to grow in leaps and bounds.
To reach the semi-finals, Remo Stars Ladies from Ikenne topped Group A with 12 points while Abia Angels who garnered 7 points to pick the second semi-final ticket from the group.
Meanwhile, Bayelsa Queens topped Group B with 10 points while the host club Naija Ratels picked the second ticket with nine points as they finished in second place.

According to the semi-finals pairings, Group A leaders Remo Stars Ladies will trade tackles with Group B runners up, Naija Ratels at the Area 3 Playing Ground at 2:00pm while Bayelsa Queens take on Abia Angels in the second semifinal slated for 4:00pm.
Meanwhile, three matches will be played at the same venue before the semi-final games.
Ekiti Queens will slug it out with Dannaz at 8am while Honey Badgers will lock horns with Nazareth Ladies in the second match.
In the fifth place playoff, Nasarawa Amazons will slug it out with Heartland Queens at noon.
