Man pleads not guilty to murder charge

A young man standing trial before a Kano Federal High Court No. 2 over alleged homicide has pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The accused, Mu’azzam Danladi, allegedly stabbed one Sabiu Aliyu with a sharp knife in his stomach at Tamburawa town of Kura LGA which led to his death.

During the court’s sitting, the defence counsel, Barrister Umar Usman Danbaito, cross-examined the two witnesses presented by the prosecuting counsel, Barrister Safiya Yalwati.

The presiding judge, Justice Yusuf Ubale, adjourned the case till February 3, 2025 for continuation.
