Man nabbed for impersonating court police officer

The police in Kano State have arrested a man parading himself as police officer attached to a court in Ungogo LGA and extorting money from unsuspecting members of the public. 

The suspect, Hamisu Ibrahim (42) of Jangaru village in Ungogo LGA, Kano State was posing as a court Duty Police Officer. 

A statement issued by the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, revealed that two persons had testified that the suspect had extorted money from them purportedly to secure bail for their relatives.
