A man has appeared before a Kano Shari’a Court No. 1 sitting in Fagge ‘Yan Alluna of Fagge LGA of Kano State for allegedly posing as judiciary staff and swindled an unsuspecting litigant.
The suspect, Safiya Audu Usman, was arrested and arraigned before the court by the police after he allegedly collected the sum of N23, 000 from a litigant’s relative, Ibrahim Barau, with a promise to help him in his case pending at the court.

He was charged with breach of trust and fraud to which he pleaded guilty.
