We’re more experienced, says Inter Lagos FC ahead NNL 24/25 season

The Chief Operation Officer, COO, Oluwatoyin Fashoyin has expressed the team’s confidence ahead of the commencement of the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League, (NNL), saying the team has been laced with more experience.

Fashoyin who stated this during a chat with Daily Trust, reflected on the team’s performance during the last season, relishing their progress to the second tier league’s playoff stage in their first season.

Ahead of this season, she revealed that the management has strengthened the team with new fresh legs in a bid to intensify their quest for promotion to the country’s top-flight league, Nigeria Premier Football League.

“We are pleased that the fixtures of 2024/2025 are out. At Inter Lagos FC, we are excited for the new season. We are hopeful. We have been scouting around the whole nation for the best talents that we could find and we have found some good talents.

“We have training day and night and are working hard and hopefully God crowns our effort with success. We really hope, pray and work hard toward this time that we make it to the NPFL this season,” she said.

Inter Lagos have been pitted among nine other clubs in Group B of the NNL Southern conference. They will play against  Smart City, Edel FC, 1472 FC, Beyond Limits, Warri Wolves, Ijele FC, Crown FC, Dakkada FC, Igbajo FC and  Abia Comets.
