Two residents of Congo Rosha in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State suffered head injuries following an attack by suspected assailants.
The attackers allegedly came from the Bulbula community in Jos North.
City & Crime reports that no life were lost in the incident but two persons, including a polytechnic student, were severely wounded in the head.
Alhaji Garba Walles, the father of one of the victims, recounted the incident. He said “Around 9 pm, after electricity was restored, the victims were sitting in front of the house, chatting as usual, when suddenly the hoodlums attacked them.

“They randomly macheted them, causing serious head injuries. My son and the other victims are currently receiving treatment at the hospital. The hoodlums escaped. This is not the first time hoodlums have attacked the community, committing atrocities such as killings, phone snatching, and other crimes without consequences.’’
He urged security agencies, particularly the police and military, to be vigilant and ensure adequate security in the area.
