A Shari’a Court sitting in Kurna in Kano has sentenced a young man, Abdullahi Kurna Tudun Fulani to two months imprisonment without an option of fine and also to be given 20 strokes of the cane.
The Khadi, Shamsuddeen Ado Abdullahi also sentenced him to another six months with an option of a fine of N40,000 and to receive another 20 strokes of the cane on a different count.
The convict is also to sweep an Islamic seminary for six months.

He was arraigned before the court and charged with conspiracy to commit crime, possession of weapon and inflicting serious injury.

The convict along with his friend, who is still at large assaulted a man with cutlass to his face at Tudun Fulani, Kurna in Fagge LGA.
