Two hoodlums suspected to be kidnappers were reportedly arrested in a joint operation involving the police and vigilantes at Ibobo-Abocho community in Dekina local government of Kogi State.
City & Crime gathered that the two suspected kidnappers, identified as Umoru Garuba and Salifu Ademu, were arrested on Tuesday around 2pm during an operation in the community.
Locals said the hoodlums had been terrorising the community for months.
However, luck ran out on them when the villagers sighted them at their usual spot and raised an alarm, which led to their arrest after a hot chase by vigilantes and men of the Police Quick Response Unit on patrol.
