The Zazzau emirate has lost another prince barely 21 days after the passing of the Dan Isan Zazzau, Alhaji Umar Shehu Idris.
The deceased, Alhaji Ibrahim Shehu Idris, was the son of the late Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris, and held the title of Sarkin Dawakin Tsakar Gida.
He passed away at the age of 47.

A statement by Abdullahi Aliyu Kwarbai, the Media and Publicity Officer of the Zazzau Emirate, said the late prince passed away on Sunday evening at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) in Shika, Zaria, following a brief illness.
The funeral prayer for the late Sarkin Dawakin Tsakar Gida was held at the emir’s palace in Zaria at 11am on Monday, the statement added.
