My contribution to education is my legacy – Kwankwaso

Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has said his contribution to the education sector is what he holds as his lifetime legacy, not the roads, flyovers, underpasses and other projects he executed.

He made this known shortly after he commissioned an ultra-modern auditorium and a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative at Skyline University, Kano to mark his 68th birthday.

He said, “What I regard as my legacy is not the flyovers, underpasses, five kilometer roads that i have done, what I consider as my legacy are the Yusuf Maitama Sule University and the Dangote University of Science and Technology Wudil.

“I want to assure the people of Kano state and Nigeria in general that I will continue to support the education sector to ensure that we develop our people.

“I feel very gratified whenever I see people that are beneficiaries of these things we have done that have today become scholars.”

Kwankwaso, reiterated that he would continue to support the education sector at both graduate and postgraduate levels because that is the only legacy that can be left behind in life.
