Saratu Abdullahi Idris, Team Lead for the Northwest Zone, emphasised the transparency of the process, noting that the PTDF’s new scholarship management portal has automated the application process since 2019.

She assured that the selection is based on merit, with requirements including a minimum of five ‘O’ level credits and a second-class lower degree.

Dr. Lucky Imagbe, a panelist from the University of Jos, praised the candidates’ performance, while Samson Bidemi, a hopeful for the MSc category, expressed satisfaction with the fairness of the process.
