Gunmen have abducted a woman, simply identified as Hauwa and her daughter, Aisha, at Dafara community in Kuje Area Council of the FCT.
A resident of Dangara, Shugaba Samuel, said the incident happened on Wednesday, around 1:12 am when the gunmen, wielding AK-47 rifles in their numbers, invaded Rugan Alhaji Gwandara settlement in the area.
He said the gunmen targeted the victims who happened to be married to a rich Fulani man that rears large herds of cows in the area and whisked them away at gunpoint.
He said the gunmen shot severally into the air while escaping with the victims to avoid vigilantes from the Dafara community coming after them.

Samuel said a contact is yet to be established with the abductors of the victims.
He also recalled how gunmen, some months ago, invaded the community, killed a resident and whisked away two others.
The spokeswoman of the FCT police command, Josephine Adeh, could not be reached for comment on the incident.
