Missing 9-year-old girl found in Abuja; police search for parents

The FCT police command Thursday said it has found a missing 9-year-old girl, who is currently at the command’s headquarters.

A statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, a Superintendent, said the girl, Hajara Habibu, claimed to have come with her family from Sabon Layi in Zaria, Kaduna State for a wedding ceremony in Abuja.

The statement requested for useful information from members of the public that will help reunite the girl with her family.

According to the statement, well-meaning members of the public with useful information about her should contact the nearest police station or call 09022222352 or 07037304833
