FG kicks off P-CNGI in Kogi with 10 buses

The federal government on Wednesday in Lokoja, Kogi state kick off its Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) initiative conversion of vehicles with 10 buses.

The Programme Manager and CEO of the Presidential CNG Initiative, Mr . Michael Oluwagbemi, said the launching of the CNG conversion programme in kogi  State calls for  celebration  because of the  many benefits associated with it.

Oluwagbemi stated that the launching of CNG programme   was in line with the federal government’s intervention in the transport sector in its attempt to ameliorate the suffering of the people in Kogi State caused by the removal of the fuel subsidy.

He   implored the people of the state to key into the new opportunities in order  to get their vehicles converted to reduce the cost of transportation to about 40%.
