ACCI to promote made-in-Nigeria products as 19th trade fair ends

The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) says it is currently partnering with relevant organisations in both public and private sectors to promote made-in-Nigeria products across the country.

ACCI president, Chief Emeka Obegolu, disclosed this in Abuja on Wednesday at a press conference to mark the end of the 19th edition of Abuja International Trade Fair (AITF)

He said, “Over the past 12 days, Nigeria has shown the world what we have to offer in terms of business innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity as the 19th edition of the Abuja International Trade Fair has continued to live up to its reputation as a multi-sectoral event, drawing participants from all corners of the globe.

“We had over 500 exhibitors showcasing more than 10,000 products, solutions, and services with the main focus on made in Nigeria products which is what we will be championing going forward with relevant agencies of government and private sector players.”

The ACCI president added that the focus of the fair this year was on innovation, especially within the realm of mobility and trade financing, which has positioned businesses to better navigate the complexities of today’s market.
