Tinubu urged to honour Matrix Energy boss

President Bola Tinubu has been urged to consider the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Matrix Energy Group, Alh. Abdulkabir Aliu Adisa, for a national honour.

The call was made by the Executive Director of Competent Governance For Accountability And Civic Trust, Godwin Erheriene, during a press briefing in Abuja.

He noted that a national honour was deserving following the businessman’s contribution to national development, adding that a recognition of this nature would encourage him to do more for the country.

“It’s on the heels of the above that we are calling on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR whose leadership prowess is worthy of emulation to please, consider the MD/CEO of Matrix Energy Group, Alh. Abdulkabir Aliu Adisa for GCON, as his magnificent contributions toward nation-building are so apparent and as such honouring him with a National honour will spur him to do more for the country.

“Rewarding genuine patriot who truly mean well for this Nation will encourage others to contribute their own quota to Nation-building.

“Alh. Adisa has impacted so much in this Nation’s economy via the oil and gas sector and as such he deserves the National honour of GCON, Erheriene said.

He commended President Tinubu for appointing the Matrix Energy Group boss as a member of the Economy Reform Committee, saying it was a perfect example of putting a square peg in a square hole.

Speaking about Alh. Adisa’s impact in the energy sector, Erheriene said after weeks of rigorous and tedious journey to 25 States, “we were able to inspect over 70% facilities of Matrix Energy and other marketers within the country.

He disclosed that Matrix Energy had been the mother depot of many other depots in Escravos Warri, saying “their wings are spread wide open for other Depots to operate via their facilities support”.
