Rudeboy insists on Psquare’s recent split
Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy and one-half of the music duo, PSquare, has reaffirmed that the group’s disbandment is final. During an unplanned Instagram live session on Tuesday, Rudeboy accused his twin brother, Peter, of unjustly benefiting from their music partnership.
In response to fan enquiries about the future of PSquare, Rudeboy made it clear that a reunion is not on the cards. He mentioned a long-standing feud, suggesting that he did much of the songwriting while Peter enjoyed the rewards. Rudeboy emphasised that he is no longer willing to work under such conditions and prefers to work for himself, expressing dissatisfaction with the past arrangement.
He said, “And the new me, eh, you see those days when Monkey dey work, Baboon dey chop, I no dey do am again. So I better dey work for myself only. Every time only me dey sing all the songs, I no dey do again.”
