A mob has manhandled a man simply identified as Ibrahim for allegedly stealing half bag of rice at a motor park in Kwali Area Council of the FCT.
A witness said the incident happened around 10am on Thursday when a woman identified as Mrs Margaret Azuka raised alarm after she discovered that her half bag of rice was missing from the vehicle she was about to board.
He said, “The man came and removed the bag of rice and was about to climb okada to escape when he was apprehended.”

He said a mob descended on him before vigilantes were alerted who went to the scene and whisked him away.
The spokeswoman of the FCT Police Command, SP Adeh Josephine, was yet to comment on the incident.
