On August 25th-26th, 2024, China National Building Material Group (CNBM) hosted the “The Smart Use of Resources Day” open event in FCT, Abuja, Nigeria. The event showcased advanced equipment, green factories, and environmentally friendly materials, aiming to engage with the public, promote the company’s technologies and products, and enhance understanding of the building materials industry.
On August 25th, Fabcom Structural Ltd. (FABCOM) and New Material Nigeria Company Ltd. (NMNC) organized a promotional event at JABI Lake and Park, Business District in Abuja, featuring energy-saving and eco-friendly products such as stone coated roofing tiles, long span roofing sheets, and fiber cement board, etc., The booth attracted numerous local residents and potential clients, highlighting the corporate image of CNBM and Sinoma International Engineering Co., Ltd. (SINOMA).
On August 26th, the open day continued at the industrial parks of FABCOM and NMNC. Guests toured the factories, gaining insights into the production processes, automation, and energy-saving applications of stone-coated metal roofing tiles and calcium silicate boards, experiencing achievements in smart, green, and digital factory development.
During the exchange session, leaders emphasized their commitment to China-Nigeria cooperation and shared their vision for future collaboration. They look forward to deepening their partnership and advancing green development in the building materials industry.
Zhang Hui, Chairman of NMNC, welcomed the attendees and highlighted the company’s confidence in high-quality development. He hoped the event would strengthen cooperation with Nigeria in green building and industrialized interior decoration, contributing to sustainable development.

In attendance was the Gomo of Kuje Area Council, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr) Haruna Tanko Jibrin, who praised the company’s efforts in his welcome address by highlighting their role in promoting sustainable development in the community.
