A new born baby has been found on a street in the Yar Akwa area of Naibawa community in Tarauni LGA of Kano State.
A witness, Shamsuddeen Sabiu, said the baby was found and handed over to the ward head of the area.
Sabiu said, “We were sitting at a tea joint when a man came and informed us that he heard a baby crying. We thought it was a cat crying, but when we went there we saw two security men had taken the baby and asked us to convey them to the house of the ward head because they were new in the area; which we did.
“The baby is a girl and she had clothes and pampers on. She was kept close to a parked car.”
