Suspected herders have hacked a farmer, Samson Gimba, to death and injured two others in Riwaza community in Kwali Area Council of the FCT.
A resident, James Shilani, said the incident happened on Tuesday, around 2pm when some herders moved their cows into a farm.
He said the farmers questioned the herders for allowing their animals to graze inside the cassava farm which resulted into an altercation.

He said that in the process, one of the sons of the farmer hit one of the cows with a cutlass and that one of the herders also removed a cutlass and stabbed the farmer.

The spokeswoman of the FCT Police Command, SP Adeh Josephine, could not be reached for comment on the incident.
