The new boss said her vision has already been well built around managing the power plants optimally.

She also vowed that her vision will be tailored towards optimisation, which is a mandate of the company.

“The mandate of the NDPHC is crystal clear. Our mandate is to execute and manage our national IPP assets optimally. And so my vision will be built around optimisation,” she said.

In his remarks, the outgoing Managing Director, Mr Chiedu Ugbo said he was filled with gratitude, nostalgia, and excitement.

He said the moment marked the conclusion of a significant chapter in his life and attributed his success to the support he got from the staff and management team.

Ugbo urged the team to support the new managing director even more than they did for him.

He said: “To the heads of departments and the management team, I urge you to support Engr. Adighije and the new executive directors wholeheartedly.

“Embrace her ideas, share your insights, and continue to foster the collaborative spirit that defines a successful organisation. Together, you will guide the team through the upcoming challenges and opportunities.
