The Lagos State Government has said that its forthcoming Lagos Sustainable Summit will tackle crucial issues such as social climate inclusivity, climate mitigation, green jobs and building a resilient city.
The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Sustainable Development Goals, Dr Oreoluwa Finnih, who disclosed this at a briefing, said the summit, titled: “Building a Resilient and Sustainable Lagos”, would hold on September 12, and was organised by the Lagos State Office of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) in collaboration with the Lagos State Safety Commission and the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency.

Finnih said by leveraging the expertise and resources of all sectors involved, the summit aimed to position Lagos as a model for sustainable urban development.
The General Manager of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, Dr Babatunde Ajayi, said that the summit was designed to pave the way for Lagos to be a model for sustainable urban development.
