Vigilantes nab 2 with rustled cows in Niger

Vigilantes have arrested two suspected rustlers with two cows at the cattle section of the Lambata Market in Niger State.

A resident of Gawu, Usman Aliyu, said the suspects rustled the cows from a Fulani settlement at Tungan Usman village under Gawu Ward in Abaji Area Council of the FCT.

He said, “After the herder discovered that two of his cows were missing last Wednesday, he alerted the Fulani leader in charge of the cattle section of the market. The suspects brought the cows on Thursday, the market day, to sell them.”
