Nestle Nigeria invests N6b to bridge technical skill gap

The Managing Director, Nestlé Nigeria, Mr. Wassim Elhusseini has disclosed that the firm has invested over N6 billion in 13-year to bridge technical skill gaps in the country.

The MD stated this during the 7th Graduation Ceremony of Nestlé Technical Training Centre (TTC), held yesterday in Agbara, Ogun State, adding that the firm has employed 97 per cent of over 190 youths who have benefited from the training.

“Our investment of over 6 billion naira in up skilling these bright young minds reflects our firm belief in the potential of the next generation.

“To date, more than 190 young men and women have passed through this programme, and I am proud to share that we have employed 97% of these talented individuals within Nestlé Nigeria,” he said.

He expressed the firm’s commitment toward equipping youths, adding it is not aimed only at enhancing the employability but also fostering the creation of new enterprises.
