A Kano State Shari’a court sitting in the Post Office area of Kano has remanded two tricycle riders, Ahmad Nadir and Abubakar Aminu Nuhu, for allegedly fighting a police constable while performing his lawful duty.
When the charge was read to them, they pleaded guilty, but said that the police officer also injured them during the fight.

The Khadi Jafar Abdulkarim adjourned till August 20 for hearing and ordered their remand in a Correctional Centre.
